Pyramids Toniná (Chiapas)

Mayan ruins of Toniná lay in a green vegetation 14 km from Ocosingo. The steps on the main pyramid are steep and many. It almost looks as if the wall of the pyramid lines up with the hill it is constructed on. From its top you get some satisfying views at the valley below.

About every hour minibuses leave from Ocosingo, where you easily find accomodation. You can also make it from San Cristóbal.
